Jessica is a twenty something whose husband’s job moved them from sunny CA to even sunnier AZ. Her dream is to have lots of children, messes, and visitors. Until then, she is ever begging her husband and friends to try weird food and put an end to her obsession with Stars Hallow and The Black Keys. She has yet to succeed.
Weird Amphibians is a place where she can share her thoughts ranging on everything from good books and stuff she makes, to the earthiness of life. After contracting a jungle disease (for real) she has been working hard to learn how to rest so her body and soul might heal. She has fallen in love with health and wellness as a result and would love to further pursue this. However she also wants to adopt every orphan, raise goats, take up pottery and play bass for the Bangles. So. She’s sorting it all out.
She chose the name, “Weird Amphibians” because C.S. Lewis said it best when he wrote,
“Humans are amphibians…half spirit and half
animal…as spirits they belong to the eternal
world, but as animals they inhabit time.”
Being human is weird and strenuous. Or at least, Jessica thinks it is. We’re both matter and heart. This is the place she can write about it. You can contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org
